Dr Peter Morrell and Dr Virginia Pullman, husband and wife veterinarians, provide high quality, competent and compassionate healthcare for companion animals and livestock in the Avon Valley at A Country Practice and in Moora and surrounding districts at Moora Veterinary Service. They have owned and operated A Country Practice since 2004 and Moora Veterinary Service since 1991.
Peter and Virginia are highly experienced veterinarians and have been actively engaged in private practice together in Western Australia and the Northern Territory since 1982.
Peter has a special interest, and extensive experience in sheep and cattle health and production and practises under the banner of ‚ÄòBest Practice Livestock Consultancy‚Äô. He has performed several thousand cattle pregnancy tests a year for over 25 years. He also has a special interest in horses, having been a horse educator in his youth and a licensed Racehorse Trainer in his early veterinary career.
Virginia has enormous experience in small animal practice and was awarded a Master of Veterinary Studies degree, an additional qualification in small animal medicine and surgery, in 1994.
A Country Practice and Moora Veterinary Service offer a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical procedures. Both hospitals use modern, high quality equipment, including digital X-Ray processing machines, which greatly improve X-Ray diagnosis. Pet grooming and cat boarding are available to clients of both practices.
Peter and Virginia are assisted in their professional capacity by veterinary nurses who are either fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses with several years experience or are in a certified training course.
