RSPCA – Auxiliary (Albany) summary:

Op Shop
Drop in or volunteer at the Albany Op Shop at 84b Lockyer Avenue, Albany, WA 6330

The Shop raises funds to run a cat and dog sterlisation subsidy program for local pensioners and health care card holders, as well as support the lifesaving work of the RSPCA.

A stall at the Albany Agricultural Show, the local Million Paws Walk and sausage sizzles are just some of the fundraising activities organised by the Albany Auxiliary.

RSPCA Volunteers
The Auxiliary has a range of volunteer roles, including volunteer foster carers to look after animals waiting for adoption. They are always looking for new volunteers – just ring or drop into the shop if you’re interested.

The Auxiliary provides presentations to schools and community groups about the RSPCA and responsible pet ownership.

Animal Adoption
The Albany Auxiliary has a range of dogs and cats (and sometime other animals) available for adoption. The animals, when surrendered, are cared for in volunteers homes, receiving vet checks, sterlisation, training and whatever else is needed to ready them for adoption.
